2004 Mobo Award Nominations
Reuters reports that with three nominations at this year’s Mobo Awards, UK artist Jamilia’s accolades are being overshadowed as gay pressure group, Outrage picketed the London nominations ceremony (August 24), claming that the events organizers are “rewarding” artist who promote homophobia. Other nominees include Lemar, Usher, Outkast, Nas, and Kanye West.
