For all the hip-hop heads, H2O is holding there 2nd Annual (Hip-Hip Odessey) International Film Festival all this week, from November 11th through the 15th with a grand finale on the 16th. The festival launched Tuesday at the Bronx at the Bronx Museum of Art. The next four days will be held at the Aaron Davis Hall, Harlem’s principle center for the performing Arts at the City College campus. The schedule includes films in competition from 12 noon to 6 pm, panels from 6:30 to 8:00, film premiers at 8 pm and the Seagram’s Smooth after parties at 10 pm. Over 60 Hip-Hop films will be screened including a Youth Program and New York premieres of Afro-Deutsch (Germany), Def (UK), The Last Poets, The Cuban All Stars, and The Lyricist Lounge, History in the Making.
