50 Cent Saves MTV Books Publicist From Jury Duty
The New York Daily News reports MTV Books publicist Erica Feldon can thank 50 Cent for getting out of jury duty. Feldon spent two days at Manhattan Supreme Court, almost getting picked for the jury in a crack-dealing case – until the judge and the prosecutor grilled her during jury-selection. “I mentioned that my client was a former crack dealer,” Feldon said. “They were intrigued and asked what this client did now. I told them the music industry. The DA asked if it was 50 Cent. I said, ‘I don’t think I should answer that.’ I was then asked if the client was shot several times. I said yes. The entire courtroom chuckled.”
