50 Cent Snubs The Source Awards

50 Cent explained to Radio 1 why he won’t be appearing at tonight’s Source Awards in Miami, despite receiving four nominations. “The Source, that’s not even an awards show anymore. They won’t have the best artists, they won’t even show up,” he said. “I don’t have a beef with the Source magazine. The Source magazine’s beef is with Eminem. Because they have a problem with Eminem, I won’t be associated with their publication. Because of that, they’re losing sales of their magazine. So, in order to compete, they had to do an unauthorized version, so they put me on the cover of their magazine without actually doing an interview, but I have no personal beef with them.”
