50 Cent Steals The Show As Opener For Jay-Z

Marian Liu of the San Jose Mercury News reviewed the Rock the Mic show Saturday afternoon at Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, where she said 50 Cent “stole the show” from headliner Jay-Z. Liu says 50 ate into Jigga’s time obnoxiously prompting the audience with the question, “Are you ready for me to go?” Then he answered, “Jay-Z been hot for a long time, they don’t care, they’re fast.” Liu says Jay-Z was gentlemanly and did not mention 50 Cent’s jabs. However, near the end of the nine-hour show, Jay-Z referred to 50 Cent’s encroaching on his time, saying, “I will not lose ever.”
