50 Cent’s ‘Get Rich’ Is Money In The Bank
Chuck Campbell of the Knoxville News reviewed 50 Cent’s latest effort ‘Get Rich Or Die Tryin”, giving it mixed reaction. “Unlike so many other hip-hop releases, there’s a sense of who the performer is on ‘Get Rich,’ partly because there aren’t many guest artists diverting the spotlight, partly because Dr. Dre and Eminem create a diverse landscape for the vocalist, and partly because Jackson is distinctly talented,” he says. “Yet the album’s bloated length causes periodic momentum sags, and ‘Get Rich’ fails to do much for the flagging fortunes of street-obsessed rap, a subgenre that may well be un-advanceable at this point.”
