An upcoming CD is dropping that honors the ever influencial hip-hop genre of music. Hip-hop music was brought to the mainstream with the break-out hit, ‘Rapper’s Delight’ by the Sugarhill Gang, and now 24 years later, hip-hop is the most marketable genres of music. Honoring the past, present and the future of hip-hop music, Hip-O Records and UMe have teamed up to bring a four-CD box set called The Hip-Hop Box.
