The New York Daily News profiled Eminem’s new movie ‘8 Mile’ and spoke with David Itzkoff, an editor at Spin magazine. “There’s a good balance between the film’s grittiness and its gallows humor,” says Itzkoff. “For the fans that know this story so well, there’s enough invention and added depth in terms of what’s fictionalized, and it’s not too treacly.
