Australia’s Time Off magazine caught up with Adam ‘Ad Rock’ Horowitz of the Beastie Boys and asked him about the impact the September 11th terrorist attacks continue to have on his beloved city. “It’s always in the back of your mind, you know what I mean?” Horowitz says. “You kind of forget about it, but it happens every single day. When you see a plane flying straight over Manhattan, or you’re in a train and someone just leaves a bag sitting somewhere, I’ll think about it and I’m sure I’m not alone in that. But people are just generally going about their business.”
