Kurupt ‘Down And Dirty’
Kurupt is set to release his new album ‘Down And Dirty’ on February 9th via Death Row Records / Wide Awake Entertainment. The compilation features 17 rare recordings from the Dogg Pound artist and 4 unreleased tracks from ‘The Row Era’. The legendary Tupac Shakur makes an appearance on the compilation disc amongst some of Death Row’s underground favorites KoKane, Young Tone, Danny Boy, and Petey Pablo.
In 1992, Kurupt debuted his hard-core rap style which combined east coast lyricism over signature west coast beats on Dr. Dre’s album ‘The Chronic’. The Dogg Pound member then went on to release his first studio LP ‘Dogg Food’ with counterpart Daz Dillinger, in which 4,000,000 copies have been sold to date.

50 Cent Videogame Signing In New York & In Studio With Dr. Dre
50 Cent was on hand for a signing in New York City for his new videogame ‘Blood On The Sand’, with ThisIs50.com covering the scene. The G-Unit mainman was also seen talking with MTV. 50 also filmed some of his time in the studio with Dr. Dre in Detroit, Michigan. After a guided tour through the facility, 50 ran into Dre. Eminem ‘We Made You’ Video
Eminem is out with the video to his new single ‘We Made You’, the first release off the Detroit rapper’s sixth studio album ‘Relapse’, out May 15th via Aftermath. The video features Slim Shady parodying Jessica Simpson, Tony Romo, John Mayer, Jennifer Aniston, Lindsay Lohan, Samantha Ronson, Kim Kardashian, Bret Michaels, Amy Winehouse, Blake Fielder-Civil, Britney Spears, Sarah Palin, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi. Kardinal Offishall Discusses Dr. Dre With Semtex
After his show at O2, Kardinal Offishall stopped by Semtex's show on 1Xtra in London. The Canadian rapper talked about Dr. Dre jumping on his 'Set It Off' record, Dre's long awaited 'Detox' LP, the possibility of working with Drake, and more. "To tell you the honest truth, the only reason it wasn't an official legit all the way single with video and all of that stuff is because it kind of came at an untimely time," Kardinal said. "His son passed and all the complications with 'Detox', and all the rest of that good stuff, so we kind of had to put it on pause indefinitely." 88-Keys recorded a "Dear Mr. President" for President Barack Obama on Pepsi's Refresh Everything YouTube channel, where the New York rapper talked about one of the themes on his debut album 'The Death Of Adam' is the traditional family unit. "I know that's probably not on the top of your priority, as far as things to address," 88-Keys said. "Maybe you can fix it, maybe you can't. Maybe you're Dr. Phil, maybe you're not. That's something that's pretty close to me and pretty dear to me, being that I'm a married man with two daughters, just like somebody else I know. Bow Wow On Fuse On Demand
'Rollin' Bow Wow' is airing now on Fuse On Demand from December 1st to January 4th. The rapper posted a teaser of the show on his MySpace TV channel. "As an artist, as a rapper I always wanna strive to be the best," Bow Wow says in the excerpt, "in order to be the best, you gotta practice." 50 Cent Says New Album Is Darker, Authentic
50 Cent spoke with Rolling Stone about the G-Unit mainman's new album 'Before I Self Destruct', set for release early 2009. 50 says his fourth release is more stripped-down and features fewer guest spots. According to LA Weekly, the Los Angeles County Coroner reported on Monday (August 25) that Andre Young Jr., son of rapper/producer Dr. Dre, has died. The 20-year-old was found dead at his home in Woodland Hills on Saturday morning. Young had went out the prior night, returning home at around 5:30 AM. They talked about Dr. Dre's new $350 headphones 'Beats by Dre' out July 25th in conjunction with Monster, and the status of Dre's album 'Detox'. "It's almost finished, about 60-70% done," Bishop said of Dre's long awaited LP. "He's a perfectionist man. Return of the Jedi. It's the third installment, so it's gotta be big."As for the feel of his own disc, Bishop said, "It's just right on time. It's just what needs to be heard. It's just about where you are in your life.
