Among 2003’s CDs, There’s So Much Music To Forget

Rashod D. Ollison of The Baltimore Sun weighed in on some of the worst music from 2003, including offerings from Ja Rule and Loon. On Ja’s ‘Blood in My Eye’, he remarked, “I have never understood why we were supposed to be so excited about Ja Rule, the skill-less, platinum-selling rapper who has bitten huge chunks out of 2Pac’s gangsta persona – right down to the head rag. But the numerous tattoos on his short, muscled body and the scowls across his little gerbil face never come off as menacing or even interesting.”
