Antiestablishment Eminem Unlikely To Win Oscar
Us Weekly talked about the Oscar buzz that Eminem’s film debut ‘8 Mile’ has been getting, but Tom O’Neil, the host of the award-predictions website GoldDerby.com says Slim shouldn’t count on winning. “The Oscars are a club, and he represents antiestablishment. I imagine it will be a terrific film, but Slim Shady has slim chances.” Of course this story was out before his Video Music Awards blow-up accepting an award, which should hurt his chances of not only further Oscars, but further music nods as well.
