Bail Denied For Carlos Coy
Houston Chronicle reports rap musician Carlos Coy, charged with seven counts of sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl, was denied bail Monday by a judge who said evidence presented at a hearing “substantially shows guilt.”

someone in my family once told me I was related to carlos as a 2nd cuz or somethin like that (I think my uncle meme but he’s doing time now or was) but my family was all broken up so not so sure if it’s true. My mom (margarita) passed away and we had 10 brothers and sisters from 2 different fathers. I listen to his music and it’s sad to hear what he’s going through, hope things get better.. SPM’s music helped me out when i was younger and to this date i still listen to his music, i never got the chance to follow up on his trial or what exactly happened, but it is BS that he got convicted and is doing 45 for the supposes allegations. if the jury that convicted him actually looked into his past and present they would have realized that Carlos went through a lot and changed his life because of his daughter. I respect that and his music. I pray that one day Carlos goes free cause he is innocent. Much love for his family and those that try to make a difference in the younger generations. Man, I have been listening to SPM since 95. Ever since, he had always represented positive things through his music for kids. I was only like nine when he went on trial for supposedly molesting a girl I didn’t even know who he was at the time, I’d never heard of SPM till i was like 15 ever since he’s proved to be the most intellectual rapper to ever live. Period. The rhymes and music he produces are way to great for any ordinary dumbass to come up with. Dumb people make dumb music intelligent people make great music and The South Park Mexican made nothing but brilliant songs. I don’t see a man as smart as Mr. Coy making such a mistake to molest a girl. I don’t know the truth, if he really did molest that girl all I have to say is, everyone makes mistakes I’m almost sure that he wouldn’t consciously take advantage of a girl. Take my word for it as a 19 year old teenager these girls as young as 12 wanna fu** everyone and everything in sight then say they got raped especially if it’s a man as prestigious as a famous rapper. SPM is a legend and whether he’s innocent or not his words will play in our radios forever.
