Barbers Seek Rev. Jackson ‘Barbershop’ Apology
Reuters reports Members of the National Association of Cosmetologists led by Chief Executive James Stern on Thursday said Reverend Jesse Jackson should apologize for demanding an apology from the makers of hit movie ‘Barbershop.’ “Reverend Jackson did not consider the future of black filmmakers,” said Stern, adding that none of the 100 or so African American cosmetologists at the screening of the Ice Cube starring comedy took offense to anything in the film.
