‘Barbershop 2’ Is On The Way

Bill Zwecker of the Chicago Sun-Times spoke with ‘Barbershop’ producer Robert Teitel who said coming out on top of the box office this weekend was “just incredible.” He had said last winter when the project was being filmed, “I’ll be very happy if we just make back a good chunk of the film’s budget opening weekend. That’s all we ask.” Zwecker says it’s virtually a done deal that ‘Barbershop 2’ will be made next year. ”We could have pitched the phone book today and Hollywood would have made it,” quipped Teitel.
