Beanie Sigel Sentenced To A Year In Prison
AllHipHop.com reports that Beanie Sigel was sentenced Friday for being a felon in possession of a gun and for possession of drugs. Sigel was sentenced to a year in prison for an April 20, 2003 incident. He was also given two years probation and must pay a $25,000 fine. In a three page letter, Sigel had requested mercy from the judge with respect to his mandatory sentence. “I had let myself get caught up in something,” Sigel said, referring to an addiction to drugs.
