‘Biggie & Tupac’ Isn’t Worth Seeing

Tonya Jameson of The Charlotte Observer reviewed Nick Broomfield’s documentary ‘Biggie & Tupac’ and took back her comments that the film was an important reminder after watching it. Jameson said, “Broomfield’s documentary was a reminder that any numbskull with a video camera and a juicy topic can make a movie… I knew it was going to be terrible from the opening scene when Broomfield pronounced Tupac’s name ‘Tupack.’ Even after the few people he managed to interview pronounced Tupac’s name correctly, Broomfield still refused to say it right. It showed Broomfield knew absolutely nothing about the rapper and didn’t even respect him enough to say his name right.”
