Bilal And Dr. Dre Team Up On New Track
Radio 1 talked with Bilal about his new album where he hooks up with Dr. Dre on the track ‘Fast Lane’. Bilal says, “I hooked up with Dre through a meeting he was having with the head of Interscope Records because Dre has his label Aftermath on Interscope. I guess they were talking about something that has to do with Aftermath and Dre, and he was talking about people he’d like to work with. And he asks “have you ever heard the kid that sings ‘Soul Sista’? I wonder what label he’s on?” Next thing I know I’m in the studio with Dre. It was cool, he definitely uses live instruments, live guitar, live bass, live keys, it was cool.”
