Despite trying to beat the bootleggers with the early release of his latest album ‘The Black Album’, tells Radio 1 he’s happy there’s a black market for his music. “It happens every album,” Jay said. “In a way it’s cool because, you know, after recording the 12th album, the fact that the streets still want it and it’s still urgent out there is a great feeling. The average rap life is two or three albums. You’re lucky to get to your second album in rap!”
