Busta Rhymes Is Work, Trevor Smith Is Personal
Cyclone of Australia’s Beat magazine chatted with Busta Rhymes about his two identities – a loving father and a hardcore MC. “Busta Rhymes is work, Trevor Smith [his real name] is personal,” he explained. “So I just keep everything in its proper perspective, it ain’t that hard to deal with. When I don’t feel like being Busta Rhymes, then I’m not Busta Rhymes – it ain’t sumthin’ that I’m forced to be. You just gotta respect that – or not. When I don’t feel like being Busta Rhymes, I like to stay indoors, so I ain’t gotta be bombarded with the Busta Rhymes stuff.”
