Busta Rhymes was on Soul Train last weekend and also did an interview with SoulTrain.com. Asked about the first release off his latest effort ‘It Ain’t Safe No More’, Busta described the concept behind ‘Make It Clap’. “The concept just came from a collaboration of me and Christopher Robinson sitting down, who directed the video with me, and we just pretty much vibed the idea together,” Busta said. “I initially had an idea, and then when I shared the idea with him, he pretty much started to collaborate and bounce his ideas off of what I initiated as a plan and the direction, and we just blossomed it until it came together the way we thought it was appropriate to try to put down in the video.”
