Busta Rhymes Tribute Revives Rap Angst
The Las Vegas Review Journal reports that a local appearance by rapper Busta Rhymes, and his shout-out to Notorious B.I.G. on the ninth anniversary of his death the other night at Tao, has elevated Sheriff Bill Young’s concern over the potential for violence in crowded venues. “I’m a little tired of the whole rap thing,” Young said by phone. “These entertainers have no vested interest in Las Vegas. They’re here and gone; they don’t understand what violence can do to our economy.”
