Suge Slams Eminem: ‘He’s A Comedian’

Suge Knight was interviewed by the BBC where he revealed his thoughts on the missed opportunity to sign the likes of Eminem while he served his prison term.

Suge says, “He’s a comedian. I wouldn’t have signed him. I’m more into giving the guys off the block the opportunity. I don’t do this music thing just for the money.”

During the show, the models were greeted with hoots and hollers from the female crowd at the show. The line includes men’s underwear, pajamas and robes.

Megastar is reporting Puffy and David Bowie are working together on a remake of Bowie’s classic This Is Not America.

The mother of the late Tupac Shakur, Afeni Shakur,has filed a trademark and copyright infringement lawsuit against rapper Daz Dillinger and his DPG Records for the label’s planned, Makaveli & Dillinger: Don’t Go 2 Sleep. DPG was gearing up to release the EP, which is said to feature previously unreleased songs by Shakur and Dillinger, this Dec. 25.

Ja Rule spoke with on the tragic death of Aaliyah last Saturday as a Cessna she rode in crashed shortly after takeoff in the Bahamas. Ja Rule revealed, “I was in L.A. when it happened. Me and Aaliyah was good friends, you know, I was just with her at BET on 106 And Park, we was there last week together, and you know, you don’t know how to react to sh-t like that cause it’s like it wasn’t her time to go. It’s like a crazy incident, an airplane crash. You don’t expect people to really die that way.”

DMX talked of the loss of Aaliyah at following her death in the Bahamas last weekend saying, “Talented, classy, warm, beautiful, compassionate, humble best describes my memories of Aaliyah, a down to earth sister with enough energy to put anyone on a cloud. How unfortunate.”

In addition, R. Kelly label, Jive, issued a statement on his behalf saying, “R. Kelly is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of Aaliyah.”

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution talked to several in the R&B and rap community for comments on the tragic death of Aaliyah on Saturday as her plane crashed shortly after takeoff in the Bahamas.

Monica said, “I don’t even know what to make of this right now. Her brother and her were close, like me and my brother. And when I think of what her mother must be going through — it scares me.”
