Romeo and his dance partner Chelsie Hightower talked with TV Guide about the action on ‘Dancing with the Stars’. The rapper discussed how he’s reaching out to his high-profile friends for votes, next week’s dance and more. “My dad always tell me if you wanna be somewhere, you’ve gotta envision it,” Romeo said, referring to his father Master P. “You gotta look further than what your eyes can see. That’s what I’m doing right now. I’m not the best dancer but I came out here and I’m trying, I’m tackling these challenges. The rapper had a laugh after getting a pat down from Jimmy’s first guest Sharon Osbourne before discussing his machine gun purchases, serving time in Arkansas – which he called “the armpit of America”, meeting some “real cool cats” behind bars, getting hit up for jobs by the other prisoners, teaching a self enrichment class during his stay, his new album and the collaborations on the disc, and whether his career benefitted from the prison time.

Ice Cube’s Message For Guys Pursuing His 16-Year-Old Daughter

‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ welcomed Ice Cube on the show the other night. The rapper/actor talked about finishing up a tour with Snoop Dogg, how Snoop had a bigger entourage, his rules for being on tour, how to eat gangsta, what he did growing up in Los Angeles during the summer, his 16-year-old daughter and how he’ll handle the boys. “When they see me they definitely put on their nice act,” Cube said of his daughter’s potential suitors. “It’s all cool. I just let them know, hey, you know what’s happening, you treat her right, and I’ll treat you right, but anything you do to her, I’m doing to you.” They also reviewed the notebook of lyrics Ice Cube has kept since the N.W.A days.
