Chiddy Bang sat down with DJ Skee on KIIS FM in Los Angeles to talk about the groups name, their albums style of music and how they got their music heard. “We’re trying to stay true to what kinda got us here, which is like chopping up lots of samples and doing lots of collabs with indie artists, but at the same time when we were making all those old records,” Xaphoon Jones explained in regards to the sound of their upcoming debut album ‘Here We Go’. “We just had a laptop on a mic, and now were have the studio time and the drums and the keyboards and the whole horn section and strings so we’re musically gonna take it to the next level.” Watch the interview via YouTube below the cut.
