Club Proof Killed At Called A ‘Death Trap’ By Employee

25-year-old Detroit resident and C.C.C. employee Michael Smith tells the Detroit Free Press he was shot five times while working security at the club in February. “That club, it’s a death trap,” said Smith, who described rapper Proof as a friend and C.C.C. regular. “It took a man like Proof to get killed for me to come out and tell this. I don’t want nobody to ever go to that club again.”
