Cohen Believes He Will Prevail In $30 Million Lawsuit
Island Def Jam CEO Lyor Cohen released a following statement on Tuesday evening (March 25) following the verdict of being found guilty of fraud, copyright infringement, and breach of contract in a $30 million lawsuit filed by TVT Records in New York federal court. “We disagree with the verdict,” he said. “Since the jury was not allowed to consider all of the evidence presented in the case, we are confident that when they do, we will prevail.”
