Chiddy Bang and his sidekick Xaphoon Jones spoke with OC Weekly about how their collaboration morphed from playing basement gigs at Philadelphia colleges to doing similar gigs in other states. “College kids would call us up and be, like, ‘Hey, my friends go to college in Maine. Will you play our basement for a hundred bucks, plus gas?'” Jones told Brandon Ferguson. Chiddy added, “Everything started stretching out to Maine and New Hampshire.
