Common Discusses Obama’s Election Win, Serena Williams
Angie Martinez of Hot 97 in New York City interviewed Common the other day, where the hip hop artist talked about being in his hometown Chicago as Barack Obama was elected the 44th U.S. President last Tuesday. Common said originally his daughter wanted to be a dancer, but within the last year she's been talking about becoming a politician, which he credits to Obama's rise. Angie also grilled him on Serena Williams, who he reportedly has been dating of late. "We're friends," he said, ducking the question. "We hang out. I admire her, respect her."
