Common Reacts To Obama’s Election Triumph
Common dropped by MTV’s ‘Total Request Live’ on Wednesday (November 5) to celebrate the election of Barack Obama as the 44th U.S. President. The Chicago hip hop artist was in Chicago to witness Obama’s speech following the news. “It was a spiritual event for all of us,” he told Tim Kash. “I think Barack Obama summed it up with his humility, and letting us know we all must contribute towards this change. It’s something we all must be a part of.” He then dropped a few verses from his song inspired by Obama, ‘Changes’. Watch the clip below.
