Convicted Rapper Draws Supporters
About a dozen picketers supporting rapper Carlos ‘South Park Mexican’ Coy gathered Thursday afternoon in front of the downtown Criminal Justice Center, where Coy’s sexual assault trial is in the sentencing phase. Coy’s sister Sylvia Coy organized the event, and said he has been falsely depicted as a child molester. “I guarantee you that by next week there will be a civil suit, and it will be for money,” she said. “It’s all about money.”
SPM should be let free until proven guilty. No evidence no charges, words of a young girl could of been put into her mouth to cause problems and lifetime imprisonment. Jury should have had reasonable evidence instead of believing words that were put in a the young girls mouth. It’s true how are you going to believe something like that, how many times have they let Michael Jackson go free on these charges when we all know that he did it. That man has little boys sleeping in his bed with him and yet that sick man is still walking free.I think that it was wrong to imprison Mr Coy.As the law does say you are innocent until proven guilty. Where is the hard evidence that shows that Mr Coy had done what was said. I don’t know the man personally but I strongly feel that he did not have a fair trial.
