Damon Dash Smokes Out Details Magazine Scribe

The New York Daily News reports Kevin Gray reveals in an upcoming Details magazine profile of Damon Dash that he got smoked out by the Rocafella mogul. “I decided to go a little Hunter Thompson gonzoesque,” Gray explained to Lloyd Grove. “We’d just left Damon’s mansion in Beverly Hills and were driving down Sunset, going to various meetings between clouds of pot smoke. It wasn’t the Herojuana, it was the usual variety. But I did get a buzz. There are gradations of ‘stoned’ and I got a mild buzz.” Gray admitted this was the first time he had done illegal drugs with a profile subject. “I felt that if I was going to say that Damon was smoking dope, I should say that I was smoking, too. I thought it would have been bulls** to do otherwise,” he reasoned.
