Damon Dash Spotlights Hip Hop’s Lighter Side

Damon Dash tells the New York Times he wants to show the lighter side of hip-hop, with the release of a comedy film, ‘Death of a Dynasty’. Dash says the media have unfairly promoted the idea “that all day long we’re upset and carry guns.” He added, “They also think that we have a beef with each other. That’s just not the case.”
