‘Today’ Reports On Kanye West Arrest

NBC’s Rehema Ellis reported on Kanye West’s arrest after the rapper went after a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport on Thursday. Ken Baker of E! remarked, “Kanye is known as being feisty, opinionated, and not really being a fan of the paparazzi. Kanye West Will Rant Later About Airport Arrest

Kanye West checked in with fans on his blog at kanyeuniversecity.com earlier today, following his arrest Thursday for vandalizing a paparazzo's camera at Los Angeles International Airport. West writes, "We back in the lab!!! I'm cool with the paparazzi. This guy wasn't cool. I gotta work now... I'll rant later!"

West and his bodyguard were photographed Thursday afternoon outside the Los Angeles Police Department Pacific Station under an umbrella and surrounded by police officers after posting $20,000 bail.

Kanye West Arrested After Airport Scuffle With Paparazzi

Kanye West was arrested on Thursday for helping smash a paparazzo's camera on the floor at Los Angeles International Airport as TMZ cameras recorded the incident. The rapper was arrested shortly before 8 a.m. along with his manager, Don Crowley, on investigation of felony vandalism. Charles Davis, who solicits charity donations at the airport, told MSNBC he witnessed the incident, and that West was "attacked" by paparazzi, and the rapper "just defended himself".
