Davey D., fresh from being fired from his radio gig, updated his website today to give updates on Snoop Dogg’s successful pairing with Eastsidaz, his working with Kid Rock, his recent film work, and getting denied a chance to perform at from the University of Iowa. I have been out from the loop with football too much time. I loved it as a kid, becoming an adult. Being from Texas, it had been always the Cowboys. Back then, the heroes were Roger Staubach and Tom Landry. Later, after moving to California, I found myself occasionally rooting for John Brodie of the 49ers, however it was always Cowboys in the event the two came head-to-head. Currently, I’m retired. The constraints of output deadlines, personal initiatives and endless errands have receded. And I wax nostalgically for the gridiron and the exhilaration of the contest. Yes, I’ll be watching a lot more football. You can bet on it.
