Denver Hip-Hop Summit Pushed Back To Mid 2004
The Denver Post reports that although hip-hop magnate Russell Simmons vowed months ago to bring his youth-empowering Hip-Hop Summit to Denver sometime this fall, recent word has the summit landing in Denver next spring or summer. “There’s never been a question about whether or not we’re having the summit; it’s just been a question of date and venue,” said Benjamin Chavis, who heads up the New York-based Hip-Hop Summit Action Network with Simmons.
