Diddy Overcomes Stiff Start In ‘Raisin’

Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs spoke critically about his four-month run in ‘A Raisin in the Sun’ in an interview with The New York Post. “In the beginning, I was kind of stiff,” Puffy admitted. I was in a new environment, and I was so focused on delivering the lines, I wasn’t living the real life. I had some terrible performances. But I can honestly say that I got better. And I had some great performances, some times when I just took over that stage and made them laugh and cry and scream. Look, I’m still an aspiring actor. I have a long way to go. I’m not Sidney Poitier or Denzel Washington, as you wrote. But this was a major accomplishment for me.”
