Donohue: Morally & Mentally Challenged West Deserves Sympathy

The New York Daily News spoke with Catholic League president William Donohue about the new cover of Rolling Stone magazine, which features Kanye West posing as Jesus Christ. “This kind of thing has become commonplace,” Donohue said. “It’s one thing to rip off Catholic iconography. It’s quite another to exploit a poor soul like Kanye West. Anyone who is this morally and mentally challenged deserves our sympathy not our derision.”
