Dr. Dre settled his lawsuits against the cities of Detroit and Auburn Hills after the rapper took them to court of censorship of his shows at Joe Louis Arena. The settlement has the cities to reimburse Dre for legal fees in which Detroit will pay $25,000, and Auburn Hills will pay $28,000. As well, Dr. Dre will receive written apologies from Mayor Dennis Archer and the City of Auburn Hills, and First Amendment training for police officers in each city, according to Dre’s lawyer, Herschel Fink.
