Eggsy Tries Selling Goldie Lookin’ Chain To Americans

Jim Farber of the New York Daily News caught up with Mr. Love Eggs from the Welsh rap group Goldie Lookin’ Chain about their debut album, ‘Straight Outta Newport’, which was released Tuesday in America. Though they’ve found success in the UK, selling more than 200,000 copies of the album, many wonder if the group’s lyrics will translate in America. “Even if you don’t understand it,” Eggsy reasoned, “you can still enjoy watching a bunch of idiots running around in track suits swearing in rhythm.”
