‘Elephunk’ Bursts With Beats

Christopher Byrd of the Washington Post reviewed the Black Eyed Peas latest effort, ‘Elephunk’. Byrd says the album “bursts with beats that are nothing if not an incitation to elevate one’s hands and gyrate one’s frame, preferably in a mood-provoking way. Combining live instruments with standard hip-hop samples, will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo and new Pea Fergie supply the party favors in bulk. Indeed, ‘Elephunk’ seems engineered to be an easy album for festive company to settle on.”
