Embarrassing Rally For Republican National Convention
The New York Daily News reports Andrew Cuomo and Russell Simmons are planning another huge rally against the Rockefeller Drug Laws during the Republican National Convention in New York City in August. Last year, the two organized a rally of 50,000 people, with guests that included Mariah Carey, Sean ‘P. Diddy’ Combs, 50 Cent, the Beastie Boys and others. “New York has the harshest drug laws in the nation, wasting tax dollars, and putting nonviolent, small time users in jail rather than getting them treatment,” said Cuomo. “The governor has promised to reform the laws for 10 years, and nothing has happened.”
