Eminem Can Vote Despite Felony

Radio 1 reports that while was speaking with young people to register to vote at the Hip Hop Summit in Detroit over the weekend, the rapper said he’d lost his right to do so three years ago after he was given two years probation for carrying a concealed weapon. Slim was advised that while other states take away their power to vote, in the state of Michigan convicted felons can vote – he just needs to register. His people say they’d always assumed he couldn’t vote and are now going to look into it.
