Eminem Drawings Fail To Draw Interest At Auction
Star magazine reports Eminem’s uncle Todd Nelson ran into difficulty trying to auction off drawings by the rapper on March 13th in Chicago. Susanin’s Auction was unable to sell 21 pages of illustrations Slim did of his ex-wife Kim, Spiderman, and rappers. The lot of 16 pages of lyrics Em wrote before producing his first album also failed to generate much interest. “We’re surprised the lots failed to sell,” said Susanin’s Kalon Sarby. “We were looking for bids [of] at least $5,000 for each lot, and we didn’t achieve that.” Nelson said, “After what happened… I decided to keep the items in the fmaily and pass them down to the kids. [They] will only get more valuable as the years go by.”
