‘8 Mile’ director Curtis Hanson spoke with the Sunday Mail about reports Eminem was throwing tantrums on the set until Hanson warned he would quit if this behavior continued. “We had our ups and downs naturally over the course of the thing,” Hanson said. “I found him to be thoughtful, serious and extremely focused on his work. That convinced me that he would be as focused on this job as he is on his music.”
