Jon Caramanica of The Village Voice weighed in on Eminem’s latest effort ‘Encore’. He writes, “Eminem had always milked his pain for public gain, but the emotions here felt less tested, less firm. In returning to the fray, he was effectively giving up the advantages he’d been afforded as a pop icon.
