Eminem Pulling Out Of Depression

A friend of Eminem tells The New York Daily News that the rapper is coming back from a bout with depression prompted by another divorce from Kim Mathers and the death of best friend and former D12 bandmate, Proof. “He has been shut up in his house depressed,” the source said. “He gained a ton of weight and didn’t feel like working on anything.” Slim’s spokesman Dennis Dennehy responded, “Obviously, he’s grieving. He is depressed as anyone would be if they lost someone that close. He had announced he was taking time off before this happened. It’s his downtime.”
