Eminem Was Asleep When He Won Oscar Award

The New York Daily News reports Luis Resto, co-writer of ‘Lose Yourself’ from ‘8 Mile,’ called Eminem in Detroit to tell him he’d just picked up their trophy for best song at the Oscars on Sunday night. Unfortunately, Resto said, “he was asleep. It wasn’t out of any disrespect. We just didn’t expect to win.”
