Eminem’s ‘White America’ Under Fire

AllHipHop.com reports Eminem’s new video for ‘White America’ is coming under controversy for making references to the Columbine Shooting in April of 1999, in which 15 people were killed. The lyrics in the song have parents of the victims of the Columbine shooting outraged, including Darrell Scott, who lost his daughter Rachel in the shooting spree. Scott compared Slim to Charles Manson in an interview with CNN’s Bill Hemmer saying, “Eminem represents an influence on the lives of young people. And we really need to take a long look at the influences that come across the media and entertainment.”
