Eve Was Hesitant About Taking On UPN Sitcom

Rolling Stone magazine spoke with Eve about her upcoming half-hour sitcom on UPN, which the lady rapper admitted to being hesitant on signing up for when the network approached her. “I was like, ‘I’m not doin’ no sitcom,'” Eve admits. “But it’s a good opportunity, so why not try it?” She added, “I was surprised I ended up doing [the TV series] at all. I’m really shocked. But I actually enjoy being a businesswoman, making decisions. I enjoy the process of it.”
